Blaenavon Blues Ground Move Early Next Season

'Valley Blue' on Tony Kempster's message board has informed us all of the following: I quote from his post "Gwent County division one club Blaenavon Blues could be moving to their new ground on the other side of town earlier than expected. After recent talks with the local council, its seems that the council have got to reign in on their original time line, and this means the football club must move earlier, than was expected. Work is yet to start in the new ground, but it is hoped that it will start within the next month, early indications from the council is that they would like to have the Co-op field vacated by November at the latest. (We shall wait and see!) So if any of you ground hoppers are planning on visiting Blaenavon's home for the past 62 years, then you will only have a few months in which to do it!" Thanks Valley Blue i shall be adding that to my early season trips.
